Michelle planned this friendship shoot since she saw I’ll be visiting Cape Town – as she and her friend would also be there from Centurion on short get-away the same time I was there for a visit.
A beach session at sunset was planned, but as we all know, one cannot order the weather …..
Their session took place on the beautiful beach of Blaauwberg – and we would’ve had Table Mountain as a backdrop, but it was cloudy, misty and rainy. With no chance of moving the session, we planned to go ahead come rain or shine!
Although it was cloudy (and a bit cool), the session started off really well… okay the first 10 minutes of it, and then rain set in. Seeing that we had nowhere to hide from the elements, the session continued in the soft falling rain and despite that this session was a lot of fun.
With the girls doing some handstands and attempting a lifting pose (I’m not really sure what to call it) and falling down we sure were laughing a lot, and so were the spectators in their cars in the parking lot!
